Rameshwaram Pamban Bridge is also known as Indira Gandhi Road Bridge and is the longest bridge in southern India. This bridge is 7 km away from Rameshwaram. It is said that Rama quenched Sita's thirst over here. Hence, it is a sacred place. 

Rameshwaram Agnitheertham is one of the 64 sacred baths in Rameshwaram and it receives a large number of tourists each day. It is located on the beach side of Ramanathaswamy Temple.
